Is the output level set properly?

Easy too read on front of Transmitter

*Your output level should be set at the number indicated on your installation check list

*The numbers should be a bright green or red color (01-30 in the numbers field)

* This number only indicates signal field width: (it doesn't increase or decrease the correction level)

                        Is your Transmatter working?

Is there power?

Determine if the outlet has power by plugging in a blow-dryer and seeing if it turns on. If it does not work, then you need an electrician.

Is the AC adaptor plugged in completely to both the outlet and transmitter?

Is there a two-digit number illuminated? (1 to 30 for signal field)

A single beeping tone indicates a break in your line.[from transmitter]

A double beeping tone indicates a lightening strike.[from transmitter]

The tones are high pitched.

                       Is your receiver/collar working?

Does your receiver/collar have battery power?

A bright red blinking light indicates a low battery. If so, replace the battery. You have approximately five days before the battery expires.

To insert the battery remove the silver battery cap and remove the old battery. Wait five minutes before inserting the new battery in order to allow the collar to reset. Insert the battery with the + side facing you.

Is your receiver/collar giving a correction?

Place the receiver/collar in the palm of your hand, prongs down, and walk toward the perimeter wire (holding your hand about knee level). You should feel a mild correction when you get close to the wire.

Is your receiver probes in Contact with Pet?

Are the contact points on the receiver/collar firm against the dog’s skin?

You may need to clip the hair under the dog’s neck if the hair is unusually thick.

The collar must be tight to work properly.

                              General Advice:

Batteries should be replaced when the low battery indicator light comes on.

Do not leave the receiver/collar on the dog continuously.

( When in for the night remove the receiver)

Be very cautious of wire when digging, aerating, and landscaping
